About Me

Only the strong survive.

THE GREATEST FORM OF SELF-HARM IS HOPE.

I like sports. I like euchre, but apparently I suck. I like my friends and my fiance. I like poker, but I don't play very often. I like Summer and hate Winter. I drive a Ford truck. I like to watch movies. I like the show Lost and I really like that new one, The Black Donnellys. I like Guitar Hero a lot. Resident Evil is the best video game ever...or maybe Zelda is. I hate work. I'm going to college again.

My Interests

My main interest is my fiance Sally. Without her I would never have discovered the beauty of life and the importance of hope.

I am recently coming to discover that my disinterest in politics and governmental issues is slowly being reformed into interest. Certain issues and so-called "conspiracy theories" have been brought to my attention, and my distrust for our government is growing daily. Some would call me a traitor to my country, but I assure you, I am very patriotic. I believe in the power of the people, the way it was meant to be, and I am firmly against cheats, liars, and murderers as our leaders. Put power in the wrong hands and all hell breaks loose. Just take a look at where our country stands as of now, and then try to tell me that W. is the man we need leading us.

I'd like to meet:

My greatest career aspiration is to be a writer. I have one completed novel, the first volume in a trilogy I am working on. I am also working on two other books as of January 2007.

Heroes:

My grandmother, Edith - God rest her soul - is my biggest hero. She has influenced me in so many ways and my life will never be the same without her. My mom, Sally, is also very influential. Other heroes include Dean Koontz, Dustin Kensrue, and as a kid I loved Alan Trammell and Nolan Ryan.

A Personal Look Back @ 2006
