Up to this point I haven’t seen the point of putting a label on my belief system but with my mom recently passing, it’s a topic that keeps surfacing on my mind so I’ve decided to undertake the task. After much deliberation and research I decided that I am, in almost all respects, an “agnostic existentialistâ€. That means I maintain the view that any ultimate reality, such as God, is definitely unknown and probably unknowable. I reject the belief that life has an inherent meaning. In my opinion it’s up to the individual to posit his or her own subjective values. I make no claim to know, or not know, if there is a "greater picture" in play; rather, I simply recognize that the greatest truth is that which I choose to act upon…. I see existence as purely subjective, as in, dealing with the properties of perception, arguments, and language as being based in a subject point of view, and hence influenced in accordance with a particular bias. I define my meaning and purpose by parameters that I know to exist way outside the understanding of conscious thought. I don’t waste my time trying to figure out life’s’ "greater picture†because I don’t think my brain could even begin to comprehend it. My number one philosophy is “live life for what it is†(whatever that may be). I analyze existence in an unfathomable universe and the plight of the individual who must assume ultimate responsibility for acts of free will without any certain knowledge of what is right or wrong, good or bad. My ultimate goal in life is self-actualization, which is, discovering the potential that my unconscious mind has provided me. Existentialism, unlike other fields of philosophy, doesn’t treat the individual as a concept, and values individual subjectivity over objectivity. As a result, questions regarding existence and subjective experience are of paramount importance above all other scientific and philosophical pursuits.
I'm a 6'6 lonely old lady with a yeast infection. Sometimes I dress up my cats in people clothes and make them pretend I'm important. Sometimes when I don't feed them they look at me and say "meow! meow! meow!" So I grab the discipline hammer and I give them something to really "meow" about. My stuffed bear tells me I have issues, but what the fuck would an alchohaulic bear know about issues
I used to be in a band. That was before I found out that I wasn't playing the "bass", I was playing the "bass". I can't believe it took me 5 fucking years to realize that a bass is a FUCKING FISH! I stopped playing it cause only a freak would play a fish, a stupid idiot freak! I'm alot of things but "stupid idiot freak" is only one of them! Now that I stopped all that nonsense, I enjoy spending my spare time on the back patio of my apartment throwing empty milk jugs at the Mexicans when they're trying to cut the grass... I tell them to stop working, and get a fucking job!!! They yell back and call me stuff in Spanish but I don't understand them because I never learned German, so I just assume they're complimenting the new thong I just picked up from Victoria Secrets' "used bin"... Then I make fun of them because complimenting another guys thong definetely has to be the gayest bunch of gay I've ever heard! What a bunch of gays!
