"I was 12, at the Beastie Boys concert and Mix Master Mike (DJ) came from nowhere, with just a record in his hand. He put it down and moved it! The sounds to my ears were like no other! Now passionate, talking to my family about what happen, my Uncle Mike bought me my 1st pair of turntables! A year went by and I started getting something’s down! It was hard having no one to teach you but that’s life right." By 16 Blizz had made a name for himself. DJing house parties, selling CDs, all the above! From his little movement he was given the "AKA" The Young Legend. By 18, Blizz opened up his own business titled Blizz Entertainment. This changed from just doing house parties to Weddings, High School Dances, and Any type of party one could think of. Manager, Chris G. came up with the slogan "You Dream It, We Do It" and by that they did! Around that same time Blizz felt there wasn’t any good music out, so he decided to start rapping and actually doing pretty good, better than he expected. His punch lines were on, his swag was mastered, and the flow gave his a good package!
One year later, Blizz was faced with tragedy and turned to God for help! God was there waiting! On and off he went to church but worldly ways were getting to him! So he decided to volunteer for his church and becoming the youth church DJ. Things were great and parties for Blizz started slowing down. The youth drummer, Mario R., wasn't just a drummer but a musical genius! Mario invited Blizz to his studio and it was that night, June 30, 2009, that Blizz knew what he needed to do in life...give his life 110% to God! Mario was his inspiration due to making Jesus music and being proud of it. Mario made a beat and Blizz "put it down like a stamp." This making it his 1st Christian Rap song! After that night, Blizz did his research on Gospel Rap and came across an artist name Lecrae which inspired him even more! Blizz is now a Producer/ DJ / Rapper/ Singer and he couldn't thank anyone one else but God....
