About Me
I was a 'zine that was published back in the early to mid 80s. Centered around Ann Arbor, Michigan's hardCORE punk and skate scene.Today I am a website archive dedicated to one slice of underground life in 1970s and 1980's Ann Arbor. I started out with just Wes' collection of pictures, flyers and music. Soon others donated THEIR cRap for everyone to check out.
Here are some QUICK links to important sections of the website/archive

OK! In 2006 I started putting together new issues of localCHAOS! 'zine. Cut, snip, paste, glue, tape, print, fold, staple .. this is good stuff. The content is skating and music. The focus is on bands I see play and skaters that I skate with. What localCHAOS! is NOT trying to be is a total coverage of whats going on out there. NO single 'zine or website can ever make that claim. There is a LOT that goes on that NEVER gets reported on or whatever. In fact .. the best sessions go unnoticed to the general public. TOTAL underground.
localCHAOS! 'zine is always looking for contributions. Skate and show pictures, stories or whatever. There are really no rules here. If you have something to contribute or even want to help me put this 'zine together I'd be honored for the help. Contact me and lets do this!
One more thing ... local CHAOS! will ALWAYS be available for FREE of CHARGE. The 'zine will at times list "supporters" but will never accept paid advertising. I'm not into that at all. Once money exchanges hands then that takes the project to a different level. A "commercial" level that I do NOT want to be a part of. - wes
