A woman who reads the above post and feels she's been looking for me. That may be unrealistic but hope lives...Short of that, someone who can make me either laugh, think, or take medication... Hit me up if you have a good sense of humor, if you write interesting or beautiful things, or if you are completely fucking insane...Also local bands (Irish/punk) are welcome....Hope to hear from you.
Depends on the mood. Presently I've been listening to a lot of Reggae, but I'll listen to most anything. I figure if they took the time to make it, the least I can do is check it out. My faves would be older stuff: Clash, Squeeze, Tower of Power, Cure, Elvis (the real one-Costello), the other one too, Da Da, Pixies, Misfits, X. You put it on and I'll listen to it, and usually like it
I just watched the Motorcycle Diaries, I highly recomend it. Any movie with: Vince vaughn, Adam Sandler, Owen Wilson (bottle rockets is priceless), any movie with Jay and Silent Bob (Chasing Amy was the best), all of Daniel Day Lewis' Irish movies, The Big Lebowski, Braveheart, all the Monty Python movies, Reality Bites, Girlfight, Fight Club, Snatch, Lock Stock and two smoking barrels, Donnie Darko. I'm sure I'll add to this.
I was hooked on Buffy and Angel, they were great shows. Now the only show I must watch is The Shield. Others I like are The Wire, Sopranos, 70's show, Myth Busters is pretty cool, I like a lot of the science shows and the animals in the wild shows, the PBS mysteries are aslo pretty good.
A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole is the greatest book ever written (yeah, including that one), The Lovely Bones by Alice Seabold, The Hobbit, the Ring trilogy, all of John Irving's books, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, I could go on till my fingers hurt, I love to read, that's a start.
My parents as well as any other parents who take their responsibility serious, anyone who dares die for what is truly right as Bobby Sands did, and anyone who ignores riches and prestige by entering a classroom to teach our children. Also my three wonderful sisters who practiced step one to perfection.
