THE HISTORY OF IMPACT MERCHANDISING
What happens when one man’s passion for music and pop culture spins out of control? Our leader and visionary is Mike Howard -- long-time music fan (fanatic?) and record/movie/toy collector. Mike started Impact Merchandising in 1993 as an off-shoot to his record store which has specialized in independent and imported music since 1982. Both are located in Omaha, Nebraska.Mike sees the record store and licensed merchandising company as a means to get quality music and T-shirts to the fans.Back in 1993, Impact had five employees and a catalog of punk, ska, and industrial bands. Since then, we added many of the highly influential musicians we revere, as well as new bands that carry on the spirit of rock. Our catalog has now expanded to include classic and cult movies. In 2006, Impact remains a fan-based business. We are a strong team of 30 creative, music-loving, hard-working individuals. All art, printing, and order fulfillment is still done in-house in Omaha. Impact employees receive competitive wages and health/dental benefits.Even with our steady growth, we remain a close-knit operation that guarantees excellent customer service and high-quality designs and garments. We've been told we produce the best quality shirts in the business. Impact is as passionate about our T-shirts as bands are about their music.
