I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I tend to be a loner by nature. I'm a keen and creative observer who's both logical and philosophical. I am loyal, honest and unforgiving; but sometimes hilarious (I crack myself up). Witty, sarcastic, demented, possibly insane, determined, sometimes appear to be unapproachable, blah, blah, blah. But be not fooled...I'm a sweet heart, a teddy bear in wolf's clothing.
I'm former military, but it rarely shows, so I guess that makes me...I don't know what that makes me. Retarded, maybe? I prefer one-on-one time rather than groups of people. I am passionate on the things I love and care about, but far from being materialistic.
I hate clowns, Bible thumpers really freak me out, and I can't stand people who won't look me in the eye. On any given night I can be found staring wide-eyed into the black. The wilderness realigns my soul, if only for a brief moment.
I love my parents, worry about my sisters, and I'll always be there for a friend. I don't go to Church and I don't pray. I have flaws, failures, and emotions that I don't always understand. I struggle. I'll never stop learning. I can't help it. It's in my nature.

My Interests

Bookstores, Camping, Kayaking, Fishing, Writing, Traveling, Learning to Play the Guitar, Painting...pffft, yeah right, Screening my own T-shirts, Philosophy, Geology (I'm a rock nerd), Astronomy (space nerd, too), Rockin' out to a Good Show, Driving with the top down, Tinkering with My Jeep, Darth Vader, Iago, Nostalgia from My Youth, and Left-Handed People.

I'd like to meet:

Chuck Norris is suing Myspace for taking the name of what he calls everything around you.

I've known only a few kindred spirits in my time, but I've known and lost touch with some really amazing people. I'd like to know them again, or, if possible, find their familiarity in others.

I'd welcome meeting some new folks who will actually venture outside of the perimeter to wander through the outdoors (camping, hiking, biking, kayaking, fishing, etc...No, Piedmont Park does not count as the outdoors) and not care about what they might be "missing in Atlanta."

Other than that, I know there are so many very cool and creative people out there that I will never meet. I'd like to meet as many as I can while I'm stuck here. Ask me anything. I'm pretty straight up. I can be brutally honest.
