I love living life. Sometime some years ago I woke up and realized that if I didn't seize the day, then I'd grow and old old man with nothing to show for it but a whole lot of "Well I could've" and "I should've" and I can think of no worse way to spend the last days of your life. Fuck that noise. So, I'm committed to doing something with my life. I'm committed to learning something about this world so I can leave it in a better shape than I found it. I'm not interested in trying to get to a heaven or a hell or an afterlife or whatever. My concern is doing the right thing right now in service of my fellow humans.
This is, however, kinda difficult.
But I make do. I go to school at Austin Community College for the time being. I plan to transfer into UT and study Sociology and Communications in the coming year and I'm excited about that though my real passion is writing. I'm looking to head in that direction and if you ask real nice, maybe I'll throw something I wrote in your direction. I go to school, I read books and I try to help people. Share my knowledge, share my thoughts, lend a hand.
Oh. But I laugh a lot. A LOT. That kind of throws people off if they're too freaky serious. Life after all, is meant to be lived and enjoyed. It's NOT meant to be totally serious 100% of the time.
Not even 50%. I'm thinking somewhere around 15-20% really serious, no smiling time and the rest you should be able to have a laugh. The situation can be serious, but you can't loose your sense of humor.
After all, if you're robbing a bank and all of a sudden your pants fall down, you should go ahead and let everyone laugh. After all, life is funny.
