I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Yes, it's true...I was raised believing that my family had found me under a rock in Wyoming in 1964. Unlike most lies and half truths, this actually turned out to be real. It explains my fascination with the collected works of Poe and Lovecraft, the strange desire to gaze at the distant galaxies in the middle of the night...naked. The pull of the ethereal world is a constant in my mind, making me break off in midsentence now and again, usually while talking to someone important on the phone, thereby ruining yet another interview. Work? Oh, yes...many years of hard labour have taken their toll on my fragile, once rock-bound frame, but still it keeps on ticking, and I wake up every day at 5:33 for some odd reason. Maybe the stars are aligned at that certain moment, and my body reacts to the vagaries of the stratosphere...or, I could really need to take a leak. Odd bits of artwork continue to spring from my studio, and I change my mind often about just what sort of an artist I am...perhaps I shall cut off an ear and send it to a hooker, or Jessica Simpson, therebye sealing the deal and putting me firmly in the camp of the expressionists. Nah. I'll just continue plodding along, skipping too now and again...all the while looking behind me for the creatures I know are waiting to suck out my life's blood and soul.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Honestly? I think I've met most of them, but I'm always interested in finding more friends, especially those into the arts! Having been blessed (the stars are right), it seems like I've been surrounded by interesting people throughout my life...some fade away, some remain as good and even great friends. I couldn't fit the amount of truly fascinating individuals I have had the pleasure of meeting in this small of a box, but hat's off and a toast raised to all of them !In La-La land, I do suppose I would like to question Poe about some of his theories, and I would like to find out from Mrs. Lovecraft certain dark secrets, but they have passed the shaded gate, and I don't believe I will ever be able to find out some meanings in life that they possessed. Ah well, what can you do, but soldier on ?I've also always been fond of people with good stories. Sharing a pint with an elderly gent who was a PT boat gunner in WW2 is worth it's weight in gold, or the old barnstormer who remembers Waldo Pepper. These people should be treasured like fragile glass sculptures, and those of us lucky enough to run across a good story teller should remember enough to entrance our younger siblings, children, and odd ducks you meet out in the world.

Every day is like Sunday...

Had a great time up in Vegas, and the flight up and back was interesting...window seats both ways, which was cool. It still amazes me that those fat birds can even become airborne, no matter ho...
