Where to start…I was born and raised partly in north London however i did my important years up in the deepest depths of rural Suffolk. It was there where I had time to sit and play the guitar, as it was the only thing to do other than the usual country time fillers.I spent a lot of my spare time in the local guitar shop Jamming and learning off of the ol’ blues and Jazz muzo’s, which built the foundations of my learning, and sound. Playing with the old boys I had to learn my Jazz chords just so that I could keep up with them, as they were the only people around that I could play and jam with.At my first chance I moved back to London, studying music technology at university and aspiring to be in the “next best thing†indie pop band. However, the first year was spent pretty much in a reclusive state after an initial band never got much further than our first rehearsal.After that year I took some action. I sold on my Marshall stack and picked up the old acoustic just so I could play again. Since then it’s been a process of learning and unlearning, performing and recuperating, living and writing and general misdemeanour.I’m now at the point of completing my first self funded E.P.
