About Me

No, my name is not 'Wok', it's Warwick, but everyone calls me 'Wok'. I live on the NSW Central Coast, and love it. I'm currently working at Rebel Sport Erina (home of Clinton James a.k.a. The Kiwi Adonis) while I take a year or two off from studies, or however long it takes to build up the motivation to get my P.E Teaching degree. I also do a fair bit of Athletics (400m), I love the sport, the people that you meet, and also everyone in my training group. I referee Rugby League, I used to play the game, but had to give it away in order to focus more on Athletics, but I hope to return to playing one day. However I do play Oz-Tag now for the best team in the competition, 'Asian Star', we've got a pretty good chance of winning the comp, if Ty pulls his finger out. When I'm not working or doing sport, I love hanging out with my mates at the beach or around a bbq and going out on the town and having some fun.
My 'To Do' List:
Walk the Kokoda Track
See the Eiffel Tower
Represent Australia in something .... even curling.
Referee or Touch Judge in the NRL
Get my P.E Teaching degree
Find a one ended stick
Oh, and here's some quotes that I like:
You can rest when you're dead
Carpe Diem (Seize the day)
Breakdown, ... Breakthrough
Don't get bitter, get better
What's stopping me?
Just do it (I know it's the Nike slogan, but I like it)
Pull up a groove and get fabulous (Nick Gerber)
I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)

My Interests

Life.

I'd like to meet:

A great man once said "life is all about relationships"

Music:

I like pretty much all music, I'm mainly into rock, but that doesn't mean that's all I listen to.
Mika is one singer I refuse to listen to, he can suck my balls.
Also some local bands / artists 'Dayna Solo', those boys rule, 'Modern Joy', 'Jesse Schadel', 'Chris Koelma', 'The Vending Tree', and of course 'Aurora' (sorry ladies, the bass guitarist already has a girlfriend)

Movies:

Some say that I know too much about movies, I don't believe that's possible. Favourites are 'A Few Good Men', 'Forrest Gump', 'Million Dollar Baby', 'Gladiator', 'Jerry Maguire', 'A Night At The Roxbury', 'Old School', 'Super Troopers', 'Zoolander', 'The Usual Suspects', 'Eddie Murphy Raw', 'The Wedding Singer', 'Gone In 60 Seconds', 'Grandma's Boy', 'Almost Famous', 'Happy Gilmore', 'Billy Madison', 'The Castle', 'The Brothers Solomon'. To name a few.

Television:

You could say I like a bit of Tv. Mainly, South Park, The Colbert Report, The Biggest Loser, Fox Sports, The Back Page, Cash Cab, Who's Line is it Anyway?, Law and Order, Saturday Night Live etc...

Books:

I mostly read biographies, they can provide inspiration far better than any other form of communication. Some favourites of mine are: 'Slaying The Dragon' (Michael Johnson - World Record Holder 200m & 400m sprint)
'According To Skull' & 'Turn, Turn, Turn ... Please' (Kerry O'Keeffe - Former Australian Test & One Day player, and current ABC Radio commentator)
'Bill Harrigan' (Most successful Rugby League Referee ever)
'Warhorse' (Shane Webke - Former Bronco's, QLD and Australian Rugby League player)
'I am America! (and so can you)' (Stephen Colbert - American Comedian)

Heroes:

JESS CAMERON

U2

MICHAEL JOHNSON

CLINTON JAMES a.k.a THE KIWI ADONIS

SOUTH SYDNEY RABBITOHS

BOB HARPER

RANDY MARSH

CENTRAL COAST MARINERS

LIZ ELLIS

Carpe Diem

For those that don't know, 'Carpe Diem' is the Latin translation of 'seize the day'. I feel this is something that people do not embrace enough these days, and it has brought about the inspiration for...

Boys In Blue

As I was driving home from work this afternoon (around 7:15pm), I was pulled over, just near the Terrigal Fire Station, by New South Wales' finest, 'The Boys In Blue'. It was apparent that they were c...
