If you took the time to look at my page you would know I'm an artist. Artists fall into a unique category of people who are a selfish, free thinking, perfectionist, secretive, loner type bunch; who would rather immerse themselves in a creative endeavour or idea than spend our time doing anything else. If your any good at what you do, you live in constant fear of the evolving technological world and do what you must not to go extinct. We are constant critiquers, who have a hard time enjoying a movie without criticizing every frame. We are the people who invent new ways of thinking. We are the people who you find often staring into space in deep thought, and who get up at odd hours of the night with an idea. We design your buildings, cars, clothes, & technology. We write your books, create your movies, and write the music you listen to. We dictate your next purchase, how you perceive your world, and design what the future will look like. We tend to be a little crazy, passionate, and compulsive but thats part of the creative process. I think I say this for everyone when I say that who ever we decide to be our partners in life, end up being pretty special people themselves for putting up with us. Artists aren't just the people who paint you a painting, they are the musicians, the engineers, the inventors, the archetects, the writers, the designers, the chefs, and the scientists that phacilitate "massive change". With that said, I greatly appreciate the little time that I have alone to myself to daydream. I love the outdoors, traveling, long drives, photography, wine, chocolate, and everything in between. I never thought I would be one, but being a mom is proving to be one of the most rewarding roles a woman can have. I have been trying hard lately to lessen my ongoing relationship with my laptop, and starbucks.. & as I drink my starbucks and write this on my laptop, I discover I am finding both very difficult to quit, LOL.
