Raised in Chicago, Sole trained as an actor, while earning a Bachelor of Music with concentration in jazz studies from Temple University

Arriving in Los Angeles, she teamed up with fellow performers to create sketch group "The Hollywood Players," in which she wrote and performed. After multiple sold-out runs at the Acme Theatre in Hollywood, Sole moved on to create, write, and perform in "Peep Show," an all-female sketch show at the HBO Workspace. A graduate of the Second City Conservatory in Los Angeles, Sole has graced the stage of the L.A. Second City, and has been a guest performer in some of Hollywood's premiere sketch fests, such as "Comedy Cocktail" and "The Los Angeles Sketch Fest."

Sole has appeared in several original theatrical productions in Los Angeles, including "Love Songs: See Sammy Cahn," an original work celebrating the music of Sammy Cahn, written and directed by Robert Townsend, produced by Tita Cahn.

Sole took her creativity to stand-up comedy where she found herself one of the ten finalists in "The Rebels of Comedy" stand-up contest, held at the famous Friars Club in Beverly Hills. She began performing regularly such comedy clubs as The Hollywood Improv, The Ice House, among others in Los Angeles.

Starring in a number of independent films, Sole has been seen in such festivals as the World of Comedy International Film Festival and the Giggleshorts International Film Festival in Toronto, the Guerilla Film Festival in Tribeca, and the Los Angeles Film Festival.

Sole has made several television appearances — including one very memorable moment at the American Comedy Awards.

In January 2005, she was cast as Shirley Partridge in VH1's pilot, The New Partridge Family, written and produced by Bill Oakley and Josh Weinstein for Sony Television.

Since then, she has appeared on NBC's Joey, in the TBS pilot Broken News, on the E! Network, and in Running Joke, a pilot presentation for MTV.

Sole has utilized her comedic writing ability as a punch-up writer for Bravo's Situation: Comedy, produced by Will & Grace's Sean Hayes; NBC Studios' Stephen's Life, directed by Fred Savage; Sperm Donor, directed by Amanda Bearse, also for NBC Studios. She has also performed her original material on It's So Over: 50 Biggest Celebrity Break-Ups, aired on the E! Network.

Most recently, Sole played the role of Muriel in the Broadway National Tour of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, directed by Phil McKinley, choreographed by Vince Pesce.

Suzanne Sole is currently based in New York City.
