My name is Andrew Wise... I'm a musician... thats all you need to know, everything else goes hand in hand with that. I play with all kinds of other musicians... I love writing and making music, and I probably like to listen to it even more. I'm also a perfectionist when it comes to my sound, and songs... I'll just not play something if I don't think its done....... which means I have like 450 songs that "aren't done"... and at the same time I don't try to spend too much time on them, b/c I don't want to hold myself back from making better songs, and I don't want to ruin whatever emotion that had been expressed when I wrote them. One of these days I'll go back and finish a bunch of them.John Frusciante (red hot chili peppers) is my favorite guitar player, gotta be THE most creative guitar player, he makes simple stuff sound amazing... He says "its not about showing someone what you can do with a piece of wood in your hand, its about making music, and sounds that are good." Foo Fighters are my second favorite band, Dave Grohl is awesome... one of the few actual rock bands still around, next to rhcp. I think Tom Petty is a great songwriter... hes starting to get old, but He still has the same hair as when he started, so I figure he's alright.
