That's Why they call me Mr. Fahrenheit

About Me

Periodic table with a centerpiece of mind.

My Interests

Music, pi, food, extistentialism, ninja's, life the universe and everything, making people laugh, rockin out, beer, steak (I'm a simple man, what can I say) the occasional video game, thunderstorms, hot humid days, sex, five speeds, some other stuff that i can't think of.

I'd like to meet:

The opposite of me.

Music:

Schizophrenic. Give me something to listen to, i'll let you know if I like it or not. In fact, you will probably wish you never gave it to me in the first place. If I had to make the obligitory list, it would probably go: Neil Young, Pink Floyd, Zappa, tool, Quicksand, Helmet, Soundgarden, Ben Folds, Jawbox, Porcupine Tree, Horse the band, Minu the Bear, Mars Volta, Dio, Clutch, Marvin Gaye, Corrosion of Conformity, Faith No More, blah blah blah. Fuck it, you wanna know, come over and check out the cd collection

Movies:

I love me some movies. I actually was in a short film that my friend Jeff made. We're still finishing it. MY top five fave movies are: High Fidelity, This is Spinal Tap, Big Lebowski, The Empire Strikes Back and Beyond Thunderdome. I'm a dork, it's cool, I've dealt with it. I love comedies, and scifi movies. Actually, I'll sit through just about anything.

Television:

Lost, House, 30 rock

Books:

On the Road by Jack Kerouac changed my life when I was 16. It made feel alive, and I almost hopped on a train. I kinda wish I did, to see what would happen. Hitchhikers Guide to The Galaxy, that was another life changing event. I read voraciously. Now its mostly magazines, cause we have them at work and I can read them on my break. I will read at night right until i fall asleep. I love to read. If you got a suggestion, send it my way.

Heroes:

Michael Faraday.

My Blog

Stephen King

I think Stephen King’s columns in the back of Entertainment Weekly are better than his recent novels. He may be more like his hero H.P. Lovecraft than he thinks.(The comparison here being Lovec...

The IPOD Gods have smiled upon me

By playing Kiss's "Love Gun" 2 nights in a row while on random. Tonight this was followed by a sweet rendition of "Mean Streets" by a little band known as Van Halen

Union Inn

According to the barmaid (what is the PC version of female bartender), at the Union Inn, I don't smile enough because I don't realize how handsome I am. Very bizarre

Moving

I'm moving once again, this time back to Rotterdam. In the process, I've cleaned my car and unearthed (among other things) my Soundgarden Live bootleg from the Superunknown tour. It's badass. I also f...

2:49 a.m.

So I'm still up, watching Metallica's "Some Kind of Monster" I think I've seen this everytime it's on VH-1, and everytime I'm still struck by how whiny that band is. Very compelling.
