When my son was born we actually got to name him it was a surreal experience. After we did we had to fill out the paperwork to get a birth certificate. One day the birth certificate arrived. It said, his name and birth date on it. But what it didn’t say is... will become the winningest quarterback in the NFL, or will discover the cure for the common cold, or will never really amount to anything. It is sort of the thing that only has all the stats about when he was born. What is not on there is WHY he was born. Wouldn’t it be great if our birth certificates would tell why we were born? It would solve so many problems and questions. Unfortunately, we are all left to discover that for ourselves. We often have this plan of how we think our lives are going to go and even what the meaning of our lives are. But, when we hit the real world it hits us and it leaves us reeling. Maybe, we weren't meant to figure it out on our own.
