Joseph Konty is now under the management label of Doug Brown based out of Orlando, FL. Doug Brown is the exclusive management and new label for Joseph Konty's brand new music career. Keep checking in as many new developments unfold.
Joseph will be working on many new things in the next few months. "I am looking forward to some time in Oregon with family and friends, before recording and touring like crazy. To just work on music and write close to comfort for the new album and to not be constantly performing right now sounds much needed. But, that will only last for a few moments, then I will want to get out there right away. I am also really chomping at the bit to get to tour around the U.S. and overseas. I am looking very much forward to all of it. My time in Denver, CO and touring all around the past few months has been much to short lived. People are great," Joseph.
Joseph Konty and new manager Doug Brown will see many of you soon on the road and be looking for Joseph Konty's new music to be coming shortly and developing over the months ahead.

'Hot & Bothered' & 'Love You Like Forever' will air on KOZI 93.5 out of Lake Chelan, WA this week as Joseph's tour ends up in Central, WA.

There was an on air interview with KSCY 104.5 FM out of Canon City, CO for the upcoming benefit concert going towards Loaves and Fishes. They played Joseph's latest single "Love You Like Forever."

Joseph will be opening up for 2008 Grammy Nominated R&B/Soul artist Anthony David in Denver, CO on Feb. 13. Anthony David is up for a grammy with his song "Words" which is a duet with India Arie, who is an extremely well known, multi award winning artist in music. Joseph's new single "Love You Like Forever" is already set for Hot A/C radio this week. KOHO 101.1 FM in Leavenworth, WA is set to do an interview with Joseph this Friday Nov. 7 in the afternoon @ 1:45pm as he gears up for his show that night in Wenatchee, WA. After the interview KOHO will be playing Joseph's newest single on their station. Listen in and request Joseph's music across the nation and the globe.

CD singles and digital track sales have been reaching overseas, with the current sales in Norway and Denmark. Joseph's music has traveled and been received well by the East Coast and Europe. The plan now is to being performing and touring more in those areas to keep fan support that has been created.
After a few years with other music rights societies, Joseph Konty has been approved and become a member of BMI. "I really liked what they were about and I think it is vital for artist to support organizations such as these and become a part of that community," Joseph Konty.

BIO – joseph konty
Joseph Konty, born in the summer of 1982 in Denver, CO., raised in Texas, and now residing in Portland, Oregon, blessed the local Baptist church with his singing voice from an early age with the manners taught by his southern Mother. While he enjoyed painting and drawing, the inspiration of gospel music at the church and the message is what moved Konty. Joseph graduated high school early to start recording his music and then took another four years to continue his education at a private college while taking private lessons in the areas of singing and guitar. He was encouraged to pursue a career in music from that time to present with four recordings under his belt and his 2009 album in the works. Joseph drew to the sounds of Soul music. He immediately fell in love with it, unaware of it‘s nature at first, but now it is a part of who he is in many facets.
There are several inspirations that peer through his music. For example, the inspiration of Ray Charles, Marvin Gaye, Boyz II Men, and Motown. Their voices, music and soul are true and captured his soul, early on. “I know that I do not sound like these artist, but they do something inside every time I hear them. You will always hear these artist being played when you are around me,” Joseph Konty. Joseph’s guitar performance comes from the sounds of gospel, R&B and soul music. “Many guitar players try and choose guitar heroes, but for me I really did not have any. I tried, but in the end it was just sounds that influenced me. I like anything catchy, tasty or well put. However, I will state that Prince is beyond…..the man's a genius. That is someone I could see as a hero musically,” Joseph Konty.
The music is seductive with honest, sensual and soulful lyrics that rise from the heart and forcefully connect. "I write about my own truths or imaging thoughts," he confesses. "It's important that people accept me for who I am." What he uniquely is becomes evident from the first time you listen to his voice and are won over by his emotions. “ I have had a great life and am very grateful. However, the past few years have been somewhat trying,” Joseph Konty.
Ever since finishing college the process of doing music as a full time career has come panged with questions, doubts, and sometimes brick walls. Joseph started the process for graduate school at a local university and then decided to not go through with it and to focus all energy on his dream. Graduate school will come at a later date and a later season. The past few years have challenged Joseph on many levels ranging in many personal ways, to a hard family illness and the loss of his grandmother. Really they have been somewhat dark times with light over top. It has really pushed him to create music that is his own brand, listen to what is in his heart and go for it.
This young man’s career has no stops ahead and at his age the experiences and education that he has brought into life will make him more than just another here today gone tomorrow pop sensation. Joseph Konty is a songwriter, a storyteller, a trend setter, and most importantly an icon for a generation. “I cannot imagine doing anything else. I love entertaining and it is a way for everything that I am, to be used all at once. I feel completely drained after a show or studio session, but in a fulfilling way. I am not sure what the future holds, I do not care for money or fame, but I do care for a stage to perform on and the means to take care of a family of my own. My greatest achievement will be when I can look back on life and see that I saw my dreams come true and gave charitably to many people and nations along the way. To sum up my music, it is philanthropy, with many avenues to go down," Joseph Konty.
