Tribal Dance & Tribal Fusion.
The girl in the picture is none other than Rachel Brice, if you dont already know. She is one of my favorite dancers when it comes to tribal. I look up to her and one day hope to be as talented as she is.She also dances with a group called The Indigo dance troupe, who are currently doing a tour called Le Serpent Rouge.

Fiona Horne
Fiona Horne has been a role model to me every since I got into the practice. She is a talented singer and television personality in Austrailia and most importantly she is a wiccan. She wears the title "witch" proudly and is one of my heroes. Ive been practicing for over five years now and i still look up to her. In US television, she took part in a reality show called mad mad house, where a group of conservative like people had to live with a group of people who lived alternative lifestyles (ex.a natureist/nudist, witch, vampire, etc.)

Henna tattooing.
Im learning how to do it, and im thinking about taking the test to get certified as a henna artist. Its all natural dye that makes a stain on your skin, henna is one of the safest things you can put on your skin. Its popular in Egypt and in india and other parts of the middle east. The henna plant was said to originally grow in Egypt, but was later given to India to grow as a gift..I think its beautiful. br

another thing im trying to learn. Ever since i saw a group of people doing fire poi at clearwater beach, ive made it my mission to learn as much as possible about it. Just another thing i found facinating, and yes, im practicing that as well. if anyone knows a good instructor in the clearwater/tampa area, let me know. HelloHello. Im Victoria.
hmm..lets see, where to start?
i was born in Brooklyn, New York. I lived there for about 16 years.
Then i moved to New Port Richey, Fl. I hated it at first.
But im doing well now. i got used to it.
I graduated from Mitchell High School on May 26, 2007.
And i plan on going to PHCC for two years and transfering over to USF.
I want to study anthropology of the middle east.
I want to study overseas in the middle east too.
I like to think im a well-rounded person. My family things im insane, though.
I think it stems back to when i was a child and i
used to wake up early on saturdays to watch music
videos from india.
I tend to become obsessed with particular things over time.
But there are some things that just stuck with me.
like indian and arabic culture...and studying occult things.im just wierd like that.
Ive become somewhat of a hippie as ive grown...
Lately ive become somewhat opinionated on life, and enjoying it.
I just dont like to see people waste life.
I get alot of heat for that. All those people who like being cynical, and hateful.
They dont like when someone comes and "throws some sunshine in thier eyes", so to speak.
I dont like when people judge others based on the way they look, the friends they have, how they dress, the music
they listen to, or what thier race, religion, or sexual orientation is.
I think thas absolutely pointless and ignorant.
I should drop this subject now before i end up writing a short novel on this...

Anyway...
I am a Wiccan.Ive been *studying* for over seven years with the intention to observe and not get involved.
But about three years ago i decided to become a practicing wiccan.
NO NO NO, this does not mean im evil.
Wiccans dont worship satan, we dont even believe in satan.
Wicca is an earth based religion. I worship nature, the earth as well as the goddess and god.
I believe its important to be close to the earth and to keep things balanced in order to live life well.
I also think that to be happy you need to eliminate hate, ignorance and anger.
ohhh...there i go again, trying to sound all philosophical

I have a few good hobbies...
Ive recently begun learning the art of tribal bellydancing, or tribal fusion, which is alot more grounded and earthy.
Im still a begginer, but i hope to be good...
I also want to use my future experience in anthropology to enhance my experience in tribal dance and in henna tattooing.
I enjoy doing and getting henna. im an aspiring henna artist, ive been practicing for a short while, but i wanna do henna on clearwater beach at pier 60.
Another thing im addicted to is makeing jewelry.
I do hemp knotted jewelry/macrame, and i do your average beading and im starting wirework. Its a bit of an obsession, i can sit and do it all day
And a rather new facination of mine is Poi, which is fire twirling. im trying to learn, i think its amazing, i hope to be good at it.Hm...lets see...oh! WHO I'D LIKE TO MEET:I want to meet people who have inspired me in my life and who have facinated me.

First person i'd like to meet is Rachel Brice and The Indigo dance troupe.
She and the group are extremely talented women.
In fact, it was seeing a video of
Rachel Brice a long while ago that inspired me to take up
tribal dance.

The next person i'd like to meet is Fiona Horne.
I remember seeing Fiona a while after i had already
begun studying wicca. When I saw her and how proud she
was of being wiccan, i decided to begin practicing.

My ancestors...that sounds random, but i thought it'd be
cool to see how they were.
