Almost Punk NY started back in the spring of 2002. It was formed in order to help promote unsigned punk bands in the New York and New Jersey areas. Since then, it has grown and now helps promote local bands from all over. We provide the latest news updates from these bands, including upcoming shows and new releases. We like what we see and hear from these bands and we want more people to become aware of just how talented these young musicians are. They deserve it for all their hard work.
APNY is also here to provide updates on bigger, signed bands, such as NoFx, New Found Glory, Lag Wagon, etc. We give you up-to-the-minute information, such as new releases, tour dates, and an extensive list of links to their official websites.
APNY is here for one purpose: THE MUSIC. We are a non-profit site whose only goal is to get all information you want about the bands you love right here and to help these amazing unsigned bands get a little more exposure and get them noticed.
