Actors I love to watch most b/c they're just damn good: Sir Ben Kingsley (intense more than Pacino) , William Hurt (his acting is orchestral), Brando (always been good), early Pacino and DeNiro, Tom Hanks (versatile), Spencer Tracy (good listening in Judgement at Nuremberg), Audrey Tatou (fun), Cate Blanchet (can't take my eyes off her), Gerard Depardieu (great sense of humor even in drama), Roberto Benigni (amazing clowning skills), Johnny Depp (good depth), Javier Bardem (fearless), Benicio Del Toro (hard working, passionate), Jessica Lange (i miss her), Heather Graham (quirky, cute--needs a good vehicle for acting), early DeNiro and Pacino (i don't know like them anymore, but worth the respect for hard work), Glenn Close, Gena Rowlands, Mia Farrow (these women can act), Steve Buscemi, Jeff Bridges, John Turturro (love his weirdness), Harvey Keitel (respected), Adrien Brody, Joaquin Phoenix, Claire Danes (sometimes).
Directors: Kieslowski (Red, White, Blue--must see), Roman Polanski, Woody Allen, Steve Buscemi, COHEN BROS (geniuses!)
Films: Schindler's List (i love this movie), Stalingrad, all of Woody Allen (i'm glad he's making his money in europe where it's seen by a worthy audience. yes, it is weird he married his stepdaughter), Rosemary's Baby (FUCKEN! INSAnE! so subtle, yet such insanely powerful film making--i want to cry just thinking about it)
