About Me

"...Even with those three big hitters, the notable member is brilliant keyboardist Ryan Hickey, who does a magical job of whipping up sticky funky bass lines with his left hand and soulful organ with his right."
"...but especially his co-worship of the Hammond organ make him truly a beloved brethren" - Riverwest Productions
"Keyboard teacher, lover of nature and fish tacos, had to be bribed with Cheetos not to quit after his first lesson with Nick" - School of Rock, Fort Washington
Cut from the same cloth as the likes of Jimmy Smith, Brent Mydland and Neal Evans, Ryan Hickey continues to deliver the most inovative musicianship, along with passion, hard work and dedication. As a practitioner, a teacher, a student, a true artist and a role model, Ryan merges his daily pursuit of music with developing himself, and the others around him, as whole-hearted, awakened human beings.
"If you hang with Ryan for a day, that's still not enough time to see the true depth of this unique artist"... Ryan has the ability to awaken you, make you rise, make you laugh, dance and party hard, meditate and put you back to sleep. With no special gimicks, show name or luck, Ryan continues to tour the United States, bringing along only the best, hard working individuals who have the power to inspire and move souls.
Hickey plays Organs, Bass Keys, keyboards, synthesizers, acoustic and electric guitars, melodica, clavinet, mouth organ/harp and vocals. Hickey has also studied French Horn and Bassoon and has dabbled with Bass Guitar, Drums/percussion Trombone, Mandolin, Ukulele, Flute and Tenor Saxaphone. Ryan has studied Orchestral music, classical and jazz ensemble.
