There's a buzz going around in the game about the new queen of hip-hop and her name is "Mi$america". Not to be confused with a "regular female rapper", Mi$America exceeds new listener's expectations every time. With her original wordplay, straightforward opinions, sass, and skill level, some may say she is the female answer to Jay Z. She was raised in what she refers to as "old Harlem" and like many of the greats before her, dealt with a lot of obstacles in her life, but Mi$America used music to get through it all and incorporates that in work. Prior to her solo career she lead an all female rap group, but since then has had plenty of opportunities open for her on her own including: her freestyle aired on hot 97's funk master flex's show, Funk flex unsigned talent DVD vol.1 (and was invited to reappear on vol 2.), a performance with hot 97 for the release party, collaborated with Babs Bunny (bad boy), filled in on a song for Jae Millz (young money ent.), appeared on the cover and in the Harlem Times as their "lovely of the week", featured on many tracks with Uncle Murda(rocafella/defjam), ghostwriting for many artists, was apart of vh1's "miss rap supreme" as one of the top 25 female artists in the country, and many other shows, DVDs, and promotion. Versatility is a great factor that Mi$america possesses also, as she has done modeling, been a v-jay, and small acting roles. She is currently the first lady of GMG and anxious to drop her new mixed tape. Mi$america is ready to show the rest of the world what she has to offer. She is mostly inspired by the 90's musical hip-hop era and is determined to find her spot amongst veterans like Lil Kim, 2-Pac, Biggie, Salt n Pepa, Nas, and Jay Z. There's no question that Mi$America has what it takes to succeed, it's just a matter of the industry being ready for this type of female talent that overshadows many males. Well if they aren't, they better get ready because she's already began her reign and has no plans to stop any time soon. Mi$america... the industry's new crack.
