About Me

I was born in Houston but spent most of my life living in the small town of DeRidder, Louisiana. I love Louisiana and am very proud that I can call it my homeland. I wasn't exactly raised up in a Christian home but my parents did the best they could to raise me right. When I was 9 years old I felt that God had called me to the missions field but at that age no one takes you seriously. I was involved in church off and on as I grew up but never really knew what it meant to serve God and by the time I was 16, I was a high school drop out and was taking various drugs. Thankfully enough when I was 18 about to turn 19 a moment of realization had come over me and I knew my life needed to change. Very slowly I started getting involved in Church again, but there were lots of things I had to overcome and many things I had to endure. It kept on bringing me down and I wanted to disappear and no one see me anymore, however the Lord gave me strength to keep on fighting. I had finally defeated all my addictions, praise be to God. It was when I was 22 that I started feeling the call to missions again. So I got enrolled at this school called Christ for the Nations, it is a Bible college in Dallas Texas. Once I was there the door of opportunity opened wide and I was able to actually get a taste of mission work. I went to Crucero, Nicaragua. After leaving I felt the Lord was telling me that my work in Nicaragua wasn't finished. I graduated from CFNI on December 15th 2006, then on January 23rd 2007 I was boarding a plane heading back into Nicaragua. I now work with White Dove ministries located in New Orleans,Louisiana. I have come a long way from where I started, Im not perfect and the Lord is still working on me, helping bring me through various things that I struggle with. I am human, but God is with me, helping me every step of the way. I am truly great full for all that he has done for me. God has transformed a drugged out drop out teenager into a minister serving on the field bringing glory to his name, if he can do that for me, then imagine what he can do for you. My Interests

As far as interest, if im not at work or doing something else then I like to hang out with friends. I stay so busy that I can barly find time to hang out, it stinks cause there's so many people Id like to hang with and just be friends, but at this rate ill be glad if I can hold onto one friend.Other than my quest to make friends I like to just chill in my room reading,listening to music and relaxing.
