They are fresh, just starting out on their journey, bringing conscious lyrics with a glint in their eye. They have songs that matter, about things they care about, but more importantly than that – They want to have a big fat party with every single one of you!
The band was born in the mind of DeMain, with songs in his heart and time on his hands; he set about bringing different people together. Some old friends, some new faces, YoMundo began to taking shape in September 2008, when it was born.Their influences come from the world; its people and their music. YoMundo is what we call ''Tropical Fusion'' which is a blend of Funk, Rock, Latin, Reggae, Jazz and Hip-Hop, with lyrics in French, English and Spanish. Languages and styles come and go, grooves set in, ideas are voiced, they just keep on moving! You haven’t heard anything like them before.But this is just the beginning! Their first EP ''Who are Yo?'' (TAPE) is up, more will come. Having already performed at various London venues such as Bar Rhumba, The Comedy Pub, The Halo, Dusk Till Dawn, Favela Chic and the Pangea Project, ... Many more gigs are lined up such as the Secret Garden Party, Cafe 1001, Passing Clouds, The Bricklane Festival and 93 Feet East. Don't miss them...
