The Jive Aces, the U.K.'s hottest swing band will return to Phoenix for a one night only show. Their new CD, "Recipe for Rhythm", was released on December 8th features their friends Keely Smith and Toni Elizabeth Prima, who will both make special guest appearances at the show. Keely Smith is a living legend and we are incredibly excited to present this concert/dance. Beginning her career as the female singer in Louis Prima’s band, and later becoming famous as one half of their hugely successful Las Vegas lounge act, Keely Smith won one of the first Grammy Awards in 1958, performed at President Kennedy's inauguration, and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Actor Robert DeNiro and director Martin Scorcese have been long-time fans of Keely’s and over the years have placed her music in numerous films, including “The Deerhunter,†“Raging Bull,†“Analyze This,†“That Old Feeling,†“Big Night†and “Mad Dog and Glory.†Merv Griffin said it best—“Keely is awesome!†Keely will sing a few songs with the Jive Aces. Also appearing is Toni Elizabeth Prima, daughter of Keely and legendary bandleader Louis Prima and a rising belter in her own right. Don't miss this one!

Join us for an amazing weekend of classes with Frankie Manning, the Ambassador of Lindy Hop. Frankie is a star of stage, screen, and a worldwide beloved teacher of lindy hop. He won a Tony Award in 1989 for his choreography in Black and Blue and has been featured in films of the 1930's, 40's and 50's (including Hellzapoppin' - see video). He also toured with Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, and many others. Even though he will turn 95 in May, Frankie is still touring and sharing the Lindy hop with a new generation. Don't miss this rare opportunity to learn the Lindy hop from an amazing person.
