Ok, It all started in a galaxy far,far away..Michigan born and raised South of Detroit. After highschool I did that college thing GO BLUE! Then the cool stuff, Deputy Sheriff,Firefighter,Emt-A, all that public service crap. After many a year my heart was calling me into the funeral service. See, My first job was in a funeral home when I was about 12 yrs old. From that point death care was in my "blood" but i was to much of a nimrod to relize this! It took almost 20 yrs for me to realise that was my calling, get off my ass and go to mort school, soo, I did. Which was some of the best years of my life...Not to mention the friends I made for life..I could not believe my wife of then 12 yrs put up with all my school crap but, her and my son did great. I was an Undertakerman in Northern KY. But now after alot of soul searching, i am persuing my dream in NC (just got my NC DIrector/Embalmer license or they call it "Funeral Service License") and can now speak and be heard!!I'm here with my lovely Wife and our 10 yr old son. The funeral home im at does alot of services. Give or take a few. I work with a great group of people and wouldnt give it up for the world. I truely enjoy the Embalming science/restorative art aspects of my job. I have made it a point to study funeral service/ R.Art/Embalming history, its what i call a minor passion of mine, and its pretty cool when people ask you questions about "your line of work" and you know the true origins of the business. I am
>also a Member of the Federal DMORT-WMD Team, we are a team of specially trained people who can decon human remains after a WMD disaster. In English, Remove contaminated bodies, decontaminate them then make them safe so the other funeral pros can prepare them and return the bodies to there families. OK I,m done BLAH,BLAH, BLAH'in. any questions, FIRE AWAY....
