About Me

Well what can I say about myself. Im simple and somewhat complex.Ive reached a turning point in my life over the last few years. It is since then i guess i can say i have a new outlook on life. With the fear of the years starting to number up on me, sometimes you are forced to re evaluate what is important in life..Simply enough, there should be nothing you should be afraid of. Wary maybe, but never afraid. Life is there to experience. I do not wish to be sheltered. I do not wish for people or other to pretend what is not real. I believe in honesty above all. It is certain in life we will not all get along, or even like the same things. Is there anything wrong with that? I say not. It is what makes the world so diverse and interesting. But to like something or someone on false pretenses, is a crime of morality. In my recent evaluation of my life, i came up with an important mission, of which i will summarise here;"To learn and develop knowledge and person at every oportunity, through arts, study, people and places, past present and future. To strive for excellence in every facet of my life, learn and understand the infinite possibilities that present themselves and refrain from becoming complacent. To value freinds and family for whom they are, without prejudice to their faults and continue to show compassion for others. To develop my understanding of what is the best use of my time at every moment and to eliminate procrastination. And most of all, to be happy for who I am and the experiences I have had in my life."I hope in the future to learn to play the sax, travel extensively, work more on writing colomns and interviews and reviews, and get my helicopter pilot licence. In the past years I have been a training manager for Mcdonald's stores, and have years of experience in business management (retail) with the responsibilty of operational profits, marketing, hiring and retention and all other aspects of HR, staff training as part a Registered training Organisation, coaching and assessing Certificate students and so may in the next few years start my own business consultantancy business, specialising in operational methods to target best business practice to achieve maximise productivity & increase profit margins for small to medium businesses - and assist in distinct marketing strategies to build customer base and loyalty. So if you need any business tips. Get in touch. ;) ****

My Interests

............. .......................................................... .......................................................Life is a journey. I call it a journey because i believe we are travelling somewhere for some reason. It easy to forget about the joys in life and fallin the rutt of living an existance that society has paved for us. I believe life is a journey to self happiness, self content, inner peace, and total knowledge. Some refer to it as Zen. I dont give it a name. Only once you reach it wil you know if you have it. True happiness is not that of which society has programmed our minds to believe in. True happiness can not be tought. You can only feel it. We must come to think like that of an infant. The mind of an infant is empty, it is fresh. It has no preconcieved ideas, it sees things as they are and accepts them for that. It is free from the habbits of experience and therefor open to all possibilites. Our minds have been corrupted by the values and misguided beliefs of society and have been closed to all the possibilites. Much of what we believe is what we have been told, not what we have experienced. It is this that limits our human mind. It is our arrogance that allows us to believe that we are all that we are now. Because of our society our minds are not allowed to explore the endless boundaries that are available to us. Enjoy every day, because it is every day that makes up every week, which makes up the months, which makes up the years, which makes up your life. Always live for today. Have a plan for today. Too many people take tomorrow for granted. Tomorrow may never come.

Heroes:

I do not have any heroes. There is a fine line between Heroes and those who just have no value for life and death. It's a little complicated to go into here, so maybe some other time, but heroes are people you idolise. And that, to a degree, is a waste of time.. Though I do have people who have inspired me and helped me through many a troubled times, and i thank them for that. Many are my friends, who have put up with the person they know as Paul. The person they know and have learnt that there is more to Me than just what appears on the surface. They have put up with my difficult ways, my stubbornness, my peculiar way of thinking and my argumentative side. You are my true friends, and you guys definately know who you are. So Thank you. Friends of quality sure out weigh friends of numbers. ( so dont be upset if I dont add you to my myspace friends.)
