All life is composed of numbers. It is proven. Chemical sequences make up all matter. Two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom make water, carbon atoms compose all matter, thus we are all equations. The world is made up of infinite equations, a constantly changing, repeating math problem, with no visible solution. The fence posts passing you as you look out a car window, the musical patterns in a song, the number of needles on a pine tree. But, as is commonly known, numbers are cold. No life surges through digits, and no character befalls a mathematical equation. Thus it is the syntax, the space between the infinite numbers which make up existence, that bears true meaning. The blackness between digits, the energy which all life is composed of, the meaning that surges through all that are made of it. I have lived in a world, as we all do, of digits, and theorems, all of which have proved themselves to me… but I prefer rather, to focus on the blackness in between, the syntax- Derrick Jacoby
