of "Chaos and Order". Chaos and
Order was the theme of Northern Lights (OR)
(5th 93.80) utilizing the music Einstein on
the Beach and
Mishima by Philip Glass, and Fire, Water, Paper by
Elliot Goldenthal. The show played like an
ethereal dream, on an altered plane of
consciousness, with extensive interplay of
rifle and flag drill forms as each segment
intruded on the others deep thoughts. The
conversation
with the subconscious ended with a flurry of
vibrant op art flags, like that moment of
non-lucidity just before someone wakes up to
face a day better dealt with by staying in
bed in a dream state.
