DJ Rain, has been playing music since the age of five, when his father placed his first pair of drum sticks in his hands. From that moment on he knew that music would always be a major part of his life, and that one day his talent and love for the art would take him places. Growing up he was always into something that had to do with music, whether it was playing on his set, practicing with his band, marching with the drum line or just listening to his favorite artist, music was an everyday passion. After he graduated high school and left the drumline and marching band behind, he had to replace it with some other form of musical expression, that's when he turned to djing. This was his new passion, and he was good at it, so he and his cousin Shawn decided to start an entertainment company. They called it I.C.E. Entertainment, which stands for independent, creative, exclusive. They started promoting all of the major nightclubs and venues in New Orleans, their home town, and that's where DJ Rain got his first taste of the clubscene. His first residency was at a club in New Orleans called Patrick's, and his first time playing live was in front of five hundred plus people. His dark, funky style of mixing can only be described as "makes you wanna dance," and he hopes to take his talent around the world eventually, so that everyone can feel the rain.
