My grandpa is my hero. He passed away 6 months ago at 92 years old. I was very happy for him because he loved his life and lived life to the fullest everyday. He used to wake up every morning to study English and joined in a lot of extracurricular activities to learn new things, along with my grandmother. Even at their old age, my grandpa and grandma held hands on their way to the grocery store or when strolling around the neighborhood. I will never forget how my grandpa pulled my grandma out to the dance floor for my cousin's wedding and was the first couple to dance after my cousin and her husband. I am very proud of my grandpa, who had the ambition to start a new life at 67 years old in America. He came here to give my family opportunities that we wouldn't have gotten if we grew up in Taiwan.
