2/23/07 - An additional production station was added to the studio and is finally set up and ready to go. The Ell Ez Dee Myspace.com layout, etc is nearing completion and the four Myspace.com exclusive tracks are in the final stages of production. Release date of songs will be announced shortly.
1/30/07 - Songs for current album are in post production. A revamped version of the Ell Ez Dee Myspace.com page is being developed. DiskMakers has been contracted to handle pressing and distribution of album. No release date available so check back soon for more info!
The band
Ell Ez Dee consists of two producers/mcs that hail from Marshall County, Ky and Calloway County, KY. John currently resides in Hardin while Travis resides in Murray. The group started out as an electronic group that made music in the form of mods and one day as a joke they made a rap/diss track about someone and thought that it was kinda cool and catchy. So from then on the group has been perfecting it's producing and mc skills. Aside from making music since middle school both John and Travis have been friends since kindergarten and is probably the reason they work so well together.
For all the people who have been down with us, thank you. For those who have been down with us just to get a free ride or for your personal benefit, fuck you. And finally, to those other groups in the area that push and lie bullshit down the pipe just to get in a newspaper or even an extra cd sale, fuck you too. Making up some bullshit just to try to obtain some kind of footing is for the fools.
A note from John: Thank you for visiting the site. As many of you know Ell Ez Dee is just about doing our thing. If you are a band please refrain from asking about beat production for your group. I only work with people I choose to work with because I have so little time to help those I work with not to mention my own group. Also please leave a comment with feedback as it is greatly appreciated.Also, if you are feeling our music style, you have our many musical influences to thank since ours is just a mix of all of them into one. Yeah, build and learn from the past. It's my method.
