About Me

Website: jsavagephotos.com . I'm a photographer. I do freelance, and I am a part of a book publishing company that I helped start up: threespiritspress.com . I like nature, music, reading, baby-back ribs, good beer and discovering new places. I am not native to the Northwest, but it seems this area chose me, because of all the signs I got when I was planning my move out here. I am a big believer in the concept of "no coincidences", and live my life accordingly. I have an offbeat sense of humor, and will often make bad puns if I see the opportunity. I can't resist. I consider myself very self-assured, but I get the same doubts as anyone. I love being around wild animals, to photograph or just admire. I am always working on getting better in tune with them, so I can get great pictures, and be closer to them. I am very spiritual, and am freeing myself of dogmas and doubts. I have lived in various places, including Indiana, Chicago, Nashville and Tulsa. I am sensitive, but not a wuss (no matter what Kevin in 4th grade said). I enjoy most types of music, and am greatly influenced by it. I love the sound of breaking glass, and the smell of old books. I'm a pretty mellow, not quite down to Earth guy.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I am open to whoever happens to come into my life, because I know it is all for a reason. I try to treat others as I would like to be treated myself. It is difficult at times, but I feel it is essential to be aware of what I am putting out at all times. I like being around others who feel the same. For romance, I like women who love and respect themselves, and know what they want. I guess I would have to say I look for the same thing in any friendship. How can you care about another, unless you first care about yourself? The people I would like to meet are anybody who I do meet (I just have to remind myself of that from time to time). Without getting too "new-agey" I do believe we are all connected, and we are extensions of each other.

Dream dictionaries

Over the past few months, I have been consulting several different dream interpretation books, after waking from my nocturnal abstract playland. I've done this mostly to look up what the various anima...

When something doesn't happen (no matter how tight you close your eyes)

This has been a very interesting week for me. I have been to a place within myself that I partially forgotten about, and the rest, I didn't know was there. The backstory: I had created an op...
