Music makes my world twirl... photography makes my soul shine... children bring the smiles to my heart... animals provide my peace.. nature is the backdrop to my life and people simply amuse the hell outta me.. ;) its a good life I have and I'm happy to be walking this earth.
Things I love:
Anything to do with surfing makes my tummy go in the best ways.. I dont know how yet..but I take some killer pictures when I can get out to the N.shore Oahu.
Listening to the rain fall on the tent out camping, the smell of the crisp clean mountain air first thing in the morning and then the sweet smell of the first log catching fire as you begin the day and start cooking over the open flames. The sound of the wind singing in the pine tree tops.
Laying in a meadow hidden in the tall grass on a sunny day, The smell of the earth heated by the sun, the smell of rain, the smell of cutgrass or a crop harvested.
Wandering through hot dusty PowWow grounds getting lost in the sounds of the drums and singing watching the children run around carefree laughing. The wrinkles on elders faces, watching the dancers honor tradition and heritage with pride, Holding hands and dancing.
Being challenged on my ideas thoughts and beliefs.. finding a stimulating conversation that is articulate, thought out and passionate in a world of superficial conversations.
Learning something new (ever on a quest to learn more)
The smell of my horse and hearing her little nicker sounds.
The sound of children laughing.
finding an image or piece of art or some new music that takes my breath away or involuntarily makes my jaw drop open.
Kissing!!!!
Discovering a new place in my travels.. be it just hiking and finding a new trail or some new little off beaten place in a new city.
The haunting sound of a Loon echoing acrosss the water
Spending time with good friends just being. ..Twirling for no reason, rolling down a good hill like i did as a child, laying on my back on one of those merry go round rides you find in older parks for kids as the world spins by.
Sitting by the ocean on a warm night smelling the smells and hearing the surf crash under the light of the moon and stars while diggin my toes in teh sand, the northern lights as they dance, the smell of rain.. walking barefoot..
Most Importantly being a part of the world ~ not just being in it.
