I figure I should probably write an actual biography about myself rather than just a few phrases....albeit, I've never been quite good at this.
My name is Lou. I'm 22 years old, and was born in Newmarket, Ontario before moving to Scarborough at the age of 2.
I come from a mixed background. My father's side of the family is Greek, and I've always been very attached to the Greek sides of my roots, despite only travelling to Greece once in my life. Those who know me will tell you that I'm a very proud and enthusiastic Greek. Many don't know, however, about my mother's side, which is Acadian. My ancestors were from the northern parts of France, who fled during the dispertion of 1755 and now live in Les Iles-de-la-Madelaine in the East Coast of Canada (Cajuns in the southern states are also of Acadian decent). I usually go by the title of French-Canadian or Maritimer for simplicity (especially since all my relatives were born here), but it's a little tidbit of history about me you may not have known...
One of the things I've prided myself over the years is making music. It's a form of expression that I value and cherish. I've been in various bands over the years. Some were just for one or two shows, others were long term. Karma Viriya (Karma 69), YouthANASIA, Cursed Dwarf, Star Trip, the Bloody Mannequins, Seth, and Lost By An Echo to name a few. Most recently, my pet project has been that of Treestar, with a friend of mine from University, Angela Barbosa. Our myspace thingie can be found at http://www.myspace.com/treestar
I like sports. I'm not as athletic as I used to be when I was younger, but I still try and get involved whenever I can. My favorite sports to watch are soccer, hockey, and Canadian Football. I'm a die-hard Toronto Argos fan. They are my team, and I go out and catch games as often as I can.
I also like to play fooseball. Those who know me know that I take fooseball VERY seriously. It's a game that commands respect. You're not a real man unless you're good at fooseball.
I collect comic books and toys. I guess that makes me kind of a dork, but it's not something I'm embarrased about. Comic Books own.
That should do it for now...I might update more stuff later.
