I am here for Dating, Serious Relationships and Friends

About Me

I'm currently a teacher's aide, attempting to reform the behaviorally disrodered junior high students of Momence, and a library circulation clerk by night. I grew up in the middle of Illinois corn and soybean fields, and am very glad to have moved back to the area after four years of college in Suburbia (Palos Heights). I love reading romantical novels, staring at the night sky-in hopes of seeing a shooting star, thunderstorms, and arranging left-over market flowers. The three F's are the most important things in my life (Faith, Family, Friends). The perfect food is any combination of cheese and potatoes, and Cherry Coke is wonderfully addicting beverage. Theatre is one of my passions in life (and I wish I had more time to devote to its pursuit.) If you'd like to get to know me better, shoot me an e-mail and I might be persuaded to give you my IM screen name.

My Interests

Theatre, music, weather, stars, books...lots of stuff. You'll have to ask to find out more.

I'd like to meet:

Cool people, in particular a nice Christian boy who is musically and mechanically inclined, and isn't afraid of a girl with a gun.%D%A

Music:

Country and Oldies mainly, but I enjoy a little bit of most things...rap and metal excluded.

Movies:

Some of my favorites...Twister, Top Gun, Sweet Home Alabama, A Walk in the Clouds, Much Ado About Nothing, Anne of Green Gables, Sound of Music, White Christmas, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Apollo 13, When Harry Met Sally, Robin Hood, Little Women, Pride and Prejudice, Batman Begins, The Lake House...I'm a fan of the romantical movies, but I enjoy a good adventure now and then.

Television:

JAG, what more is there to say? (Except the series has ended and I'll have to find a new show. Sad. But seasons 1-3 are out now.)

Books:

The Good Book. Anything by Nicholas Sparks and Lori Wick. I'm a hopeless romantic when it comes to books. I also love children's fiction and picture books. The Pigeon books are stinkin' hilarious! Everyone should read them!

Heroes:

My Mom. There are people who I admire, but not many who achieve hero status.

My Blog

Computer troubles

Solomon, my computer, is quite ill.  I think he may have a dead fan or something.  He doesn't make the right noises or even boot up.  I am very saddened by this.  So, if I am a bit...

pics

Well, I attempted to upload a few more pictures, but they were apparently too big. So, they'll just have to wait till I figure out how to make them take up less space.

talking

Why is it that I seem to have the best conversations after midnight?  Tis a puzzlement to me.  Is there something about the time that enchants vocabulary and loosens the tongue?
