okay .. really need to update all this .. but quick 2 min update ..
just finished working most of the past year on Sweeney Todd .. should be good .. if I was more together would have links to trailers and all that .. another time
was good .. got to get out and photo old london buildings and locations for a bit before i got dragged back behind a desk and had to hand off the 'fun' bit to my friend james.
now supervising a bit of the pipeline for Narnia.. and finding interesting diversions like adopting pre WWII tech into my daily life... below find the un-edited story .. last updated ages ago .. I should take myspace and facebook and all this online social stuff more serious ;)
what's this second life thing anyway?moved to London. those in LA - appreciate the sun ... really - cold is a bit over rated.
update.. getting used to cold .. not so bad .. just think getting rid of all the wonderful fireplaces in this town may have been a bit hasty idea....
I moved here from LA for a new twist on my career path (it's rather amazing how life has a way of knowing where to take you once you let it.) Currently working (if sometimes too much) on Tim Burton's Charlie and Chocolate Factory, The Corpse Bride, Batman - The Intimmidation Game, Kingdom of Heaven, Wallace and Grommit. (with a line-up of work like this, how could I resist?!?) and if you haven't seen the trailers .. you can find most at regular places - Corpse Bride looks amazing and Charlie is looking to be a wonderfully mad flic - Danny is brilliant with the music and any old Oingo Boingo fan will like lots i think.
not sure how to describe "me" .. definitely don't fit with the typical check boxes... haven't watched more than a few hours of TV a year for about the past 10 (so long as you do not count DVDs.) I find myself most at home in the company of those that opperate completely outside the norm. I'm an artist firstmost at heart. I do manage to see beauty in most things, and do my best to try to embrace the moment for whatever it is. London is now home and LA is where I seem to keep going back to visit. Having spent the first 33 years of my life there, this is wierd, but not in huge hurry to go back .. still a lot to see and do ... and I'm finding that the rest of the world really isn't like LA. I will always love LA and Hollywood. I'm also happy to see it coming back to life. For now I need to keep exploring though. There is more to say (with less words) and this should be edited soon .. just was about time to put something here....
most of what i like is old .. i like things that don't break ... i like people who are real... i like music that makes you want to dance or sends chills down your spine.... i like movies that move you or make you wish you could jump back in time .. or ones that make you wish more than just crazy drunkards would break out in song and dance more often.

"I thought you must be dead...' he said simply. 'So did I for a while,' said Ford, 'and then I decided I was a lemon for a couple of weeks. I kept myself amused all that time jumping in and out of a gin and tonic.' Arthur cleared his throat, and then did it again. 'Where,' he said 'did you...?' 'Find a gin and tonic?' said Ford brightly. 'I found a small lake that thought it was a gin and tonic, and jumped in and out of that. At least I think it thought it was a gin and tonic."
