I've been interested in Astrology for most of my life. I use it as a tool, not a religion. I chronicle several entries about my life in various formats, and have been told I have a gifted narrative voice. While that may be questionable, given the fertile imagination I have, it has become a necessary purging of raging demons and other random nuisance thoughts that beset my mind frequently. My two sons are very accomplished and have great qualities and character, but I lose patience with the younger generation and their selfishishness, i.e. neglecting one's family, i. e. Mother, that evil witch. I hate sports, cigarettes, bigotry, people pulling the race card, spitting, uncleanliness, sloths, liars, wifebeaters and violence. Sniggering dolts and drunken louts - out of the question. Egotistical people bore me and above all I cannot tolerate a manipulator. Manipulators in my view are inherently convinced that they are more intelligent and somehow you will not be aware of their attempts to turn you into a "dancing pig" or puppet. If you want something from me all you have to do is ask, and I am just liable to give it to you, but try to extract it through manipulation and irresponsibility and I MAY fly into a mild temper tantrum, but you won't be left wondering what went wrong. I try to live and let live and don't judge others, lest I be judged accordingly. I am an equally flawed, normal run-of-the-mill human being, so don't expect Princess Diana. I am pretty well-read, lively, creative, artistic, and have a great sense of humor, but the one thing I believe I possess or make a concerted effort at imitating is the rare quality of humility. The inverted pyramid is alive and well at my age, and life never ceases to teach and amaze me. If I have an epitaph, that is what I would want to be said at my death, that I was humble.
I have several novellas I am working on simultaneously, (yes I can multi-task, thus my paralegal acumen) and I occasionally wander into poetry, usually after a nice glass of estate champagne, which my current budget doesn't allow. I am a loner, but have loyal friends that I believe enjoy my insight and perspective.
MY PSYCHE: My personality type is ENTP. I get along well with other fire signs and air signs. Water signs = steam. I think you get the picture. I was a certified astrologer at some point in my past so although I don't like looking at dirty palms, I can't throw out my ephemeris yet. First impressions are lasting with me, so keep that in mind. I refer to myself as a "Wanderer", a hybrid not entirely borne of the flesh from this physical plane so if that freaks you out, just don't bother me -- I have a huge family of believers and understanding brothers and sisters that know what I'm talking about. If I sound like I am giving TMI - don't be too flattered, because that's what writers tend to do, as Gore Vidal characterized it - "Wrting's easy. You sit down in the chair, pull out a knife, cut open a major artery in your arm and bleed onto the paper with your pen.... " or something like that. At any rate, nobody is going to get past the first paragraph of this drivel so until I get a manicure and can stop avoiding the real assignment of pecking out my novel. Fiction based on fact and the facts are we are headed for a major paradigm shift in our belief about UFO's, ghosts, spirituality, religion. .. WHICH DESPERATE HOUSWIFE AREYOU???
