Hi there folks. I'm Margaret Sardeson. As you can probably tell I'm a photographer based in Carlisle but am looking for work all over the U.K. My main area that I specialise in is Portraiture and Promotional Photo's.
I've got a nice little digital kit to shoot with,D70s professional DSLR with 2 lenses. I was brought up on film but am embrasing the options that digital give me, in terms of colour and atmosphere.
Recently, a promotional shot I took of Grown At Home has been published in Big Cheese Magazine (Sept '07 edition).I have also recently been highly commended in an online magazine Competition (www.thinkcamera.com) and the same photo won Photo of the Week. I have been shortlisted on www.ephotozine.com and Submit to JPEG magazine.
In August '07 I worked with the R.A.F Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and Triumph Owners Motorcycle Club to celebrate 50 years of Brittish Engineering. This involved 40 Triumphs and The Lancaster lined up together. The Photo's were published in the U.K triumph newsletter The Nacelle and Published online for The Missing Lincs TOMCC.
My past work has toured the U.K with SelfPortraitUK and was displayed in The National Portrait Museum, Charring Cross Undergroun Station, London, as well as featuring in the leaflet to promote the opening night at Walsal Art Gallery.
