I am a person that thinks life is only what you make it. I also think you can achieve whatever you want if you are willing to work hard enough for it. I am not afraid to set big dreams and go after them. If you tell me something is impossible, let me try and fail than to sit back and wonder if I might have been able to do it. I'm also a pretty straight up person. If you don't want the truth, don't ask me, because I will tell you. Sometimes I've got a tough girl exterior, but those who know me, realize I'm actual pretty soft hearted, and would do just about anything to help someone if they need it. I guess that's the yankee influence transplanted to the south in me. I'm not a true Kentuckian, and no, I don't "bleed blue". However, being a horse person, I fit in nicely, and now that I've gotten used to life here, I find I like it quite well.I've done a variety of different things in my life and I've learned something from every job I've done. My favorite by far though is being involved with emergency services. I love rural medicine, especially eastern Kentucky, because I think you are providing services to those that can appreciate it the most. I absolutely love my job and am one of the few that gets to wake up every morning and live their dream. It's not been an easy path, but I've finally gotten there !My free time is occupied with my horses as I have a small breeding and training facility in Berea, KY. I've also had the opportunity to compete on an IHSA level team for Midway College as well as in Canada and across the United States. My horses are retired racehorses, and I strongly support giving them a second career. My other passion is advocating for those affected by epilepsy both locally and nationally. If you want to know anything else about me, just ask !..
