Influences: It hurts to think about whats influenced these beats.. Probably just the vibe down in Sydney at VOID. A monthly dubstep night... Mad friendly vibe and a big soundsystem that has some real devastating bass weight, The tunes played by various DJ's there mostly fall under the banner of "dubstep", a genre with relatively loose guidelines with the emphasis mainly on massive bass..Some sick artists who fall under this umbrella are: Digital Mystikz, Skream, Pinch, Peverelist, 2562, Joker, Martyn, Flippo, Western Synthetics, Rusko, Cotti, Emalkay..All these artists have their own flavour and vibe, whilst maintaining the fundementals which gel them together, bass, pace and space...This creative melting pot of talented producers, making tunes with a vibe I really dig, whilst having the freedom to explore boundries and experiment with sounds is what keeps making beats interesting for me at the moment..Big up Sub Continental Dub and Aquatic Lab and all the Aussie heads pushing things forward down under!
