How could you laugh, when you know I'm down?

About Me

"The universe appears to me like an immense, inexorable torture-garden. . . . Passions, greed, hatred, and lies; law, social institutions, justice, love, glory, heroism, and religion: these are its monstrous flowers and its hideous instruments of eternal human suffering." Octave Mirbeau
Let's see then, eh?

The Everything Test

There are many different types of tests on the internet today. Personality tests, purity tests, stereotype tests, political tests. But now, there is one test to rule them all.
Traditionally, online tests would ask certain questions about your musical tastes or clothing for a stereotype, your experiences for a purity test, or deep questions for a personality test. We're turning that upside down - all the questions affect all the results, and we've got some innovative results too! Enjoy :-)

You are more emotional than logical, more concerned about self than concerned about others, more atheist than religious, more loner than dependent, more lazy than workaholic, more traditional than rebel, more artistic mind than engineering mind, more cynical than idealist, more leader than follower, and more introverted than extroverted.
As for specific personality traits, you are romantic (100%), musical (67%), intellectual (67%), horny (58%).

My Interests

I have a real thing for food and the eating thereof.
I'm easily pleased with anything Celtic or Oriental.
All manner of tea is exquisite, coffee is essential.
Red Wine is good for the heart.
I crave peace and quiet.
I like walking through forests and sitting on beaches, both of which I never find the time to do.
I spend my tube journey reading good books.
I still get excited about driving my car.
My interest in Psychology probably stems from a persistent yearning to get to the bottom of what this whole 'life' thing is for, a need that will be undoubtedly crushed into oblivion when I finally except that there is no meaning.
My head is sarcastic, pessimistic and rational. My heart rarely plays a part due to it being the exact opposite and therefore a liability.
Comedy is MY lifesaver.
These are my principles...if you dont like them, I have others.

I'd like to meet:

I've already met Garth Marenghi, Todd Rivers and my most favourite Dean Learner. I've also recently been in the same room as Mr Cillian Murphy. For what more could I ask?

Well, a lot actually. I'd like to have met Freud, Karate Kid, Elijah Wood, Michael J Fox and Eddie Izzard. But with the added obstacle of death in the one instance (yes love, Elijah Wood is DEAD), I feel I should already count my blessings.
Oh, I'm also on the lookout for a Decent Person. I know my fair share, but they appear to be rare. And like all things, this seems to greatly increase their value ;)
