Hello my name is Erik Carcedo but my complete name is Erik Adolfo Carcedo Flores i know kinda dorky but anyway back in 1985 a man met a woman and then i was born (dont want to get into the messy details haha) like a said i was born in LOS ANGELES, CA. but at the age of four we moved to my parents native land of GUATEMALA (that's in central america for those who dont know where it is) and pretty much i was raised there and it was pretty cool, so there i was living in GT when one day when i was 14 years old, my sister met her now husband, and he played guitar, and i would always see that guitar hanging on the wall but i never bothered to ask myself, hmmm i think it would be cool to play guitar, so life went on, and then another day one of my brother's friends started playing a really cool song called "Nothing Else Matters" by a little band called METALLICA and right there and then i went and bugged the hell out of my brother in law to teach me how to play, and the first thing i ever learnd how to play was that little lick from "The Man Who Sold The World" by NIRVANA and the first song that i ever learned to play was "Knocking On Heavens Door" by Guns'n'Roses just three simple chords C-G and D and that took me like three to four weeks to learn it, and play it, so there i was practicing and practicing, and on my 15th birthday my mom noticed that i was getting interested in playing guitar and she gave me my first guitar a nylon acoustic but i think she regrets that day, anyway i still have it, and i pretty much started learning every chord that i could find and learning every song that i thought was cool, and that's where i started, with bands like NIRVANA, METALLICA, GUNS N ROSES. Then i went into my IRON MAIDEN fase and after that NEO CLASSICAL, and then, PROG. so now here i am, studying music at MI so now let's see where i am gonna go from here so please stay tunned.....ok for all of you people who stayed tunned....
