SpeedFreak is a community for Sportbike enthusiast. Our goal is not only to shed light on but to bring together the underground Sportbike riders, clubs and shops all along the East Coast as well as the rest of the US.
I've decided to update my information here. So read on...I am the one and only CPat. I'm not full of myself by any means, but I do realize I do a damn good job at what I do, which is make Speedfreak one of the best possible sportbike companies on the planet. I've had some bad things happen to me, and I've done some bad things to some people...I'm not claiming to be perfect by any means. But I also realize that without the tears and heartache, I would not value the people I hold so dear to me now. My friends are my life, they are extended family to me, and I will lay down everything I have to protect them, because I know they will do the same for me.
Fair warning, because people have crossed me, and I know that they read this, which is why I put it up here, and why mu profile is public and will never be private. If you are one of the people who have crossed me, and done me wrong, don't worry....I will act polite and professional to you, but keep in mind that people who disrespect me will only do it once. All I'm saying, is when you least expect it....expect it.
And another thing....ladies....BE ORIGINAL PLEASE!!! I know why the legends are legends, and that's mostly because EVERYONE wants to be them. But just because you look up to someone does not mean that you have to become a clone of them. People love you for who you are, and whether they like it or not, at least you are you. It's probably one of the hardest lessons I've had to learn through my life, and it was not learned without an enormous amount of tears...but thank you to the girl who taught it to me, because I can now tell her this, "I'm sorry I hurt you, I'm sorry we said some really mean things to each other. But I'm really trying to find out who I am, even if that means setting off on my own for a while to find out who that is". It takes a lot of courage to say that, but I can tell you that I have not truly found out who I am, but I love the person that I am and the path that I have travelled, and if you don't like it, hit the bricks. A famous quote says it best, "It is better to be hated for who you are, than to be loved for who you are not", and I'm trying to be brave enough to figure out just how to go about doing that.
Anyways, back to my true passion...Speedfreak. Speedfreak is my LIFE. The rest is just the filler in between Speedfreak Events. If there's an event that involves us, and I'm not dead or at another event, I'm there...I'm proud of that fact. I absolutely believe that we have an excellent company, and I will bust my ass to make it the best. (If you want Speedfreak to coordinate your event, please message me and we'll talk about setting something up!)
In one year, we have experienced an inspirational amount of growth, including going from a non-existent website to a featured website in an internationally published magazine. We also have expanded our roots to cover the entire U.S. and have ventured internationally, and we are still growing. And all of that was in our introductory year...the year that most businesses spend testing the waters and getting their name out. Because of the hustling of the Speedfreak Staff, we not only got our name known, we flourished as a company. We plan on doing it twice as big in '07!
My goal is to make SF the best it can be. If you see me at an event, and we haven't met yet...say hi! I love meeting new people, and I especially love to meet people who support our dream.
