I'm a 18 year old Senior who happens to be Straight Edge (No drugs, no sex: I protect my mind, body, and soul). Although I have strong morals, I am not religious by any degree; I am in fact Agnostic (don't believe in any particular thing but won't necassarily rule things out). I am an over-achiever by nature, holding high averages in my class. I am/have been involved with the following activities in highschool during the previous year:
Chorus, Scarlet Choir, Madrigals, Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Trans-Belvidere Ensemble, NHS, SAAD executive secretary, Extended Learners, Model UN, Mr. Belvidere, Teen Arts, Consumer Bowl, the Musical (Godspell), and the Cabaretti.
There may be more stuff but I forget.
Obviously I am heavy into music and politics. I am strictly a singer when it comes to music, unfortunately. When it comes to politics, well let me say that politics is one of the worst inventions of mankind. I hate politics with a passion, which is why I am so fervently involved in them. Anytime you want to debate, vent, talk, get advice, or have someone just listen, I usually am there to help, if ye be a friend.I can deal with a great deal of stuff, but I have certain things I will not stand for. I will not stand for people who try to deny others the rights they are entitled to as humans, which is the right to do anything but take away other's rights. I can not stand people who deceive. One who chooses to cause excess pain on others because they are unwilling to admit to a truth themselves are not worth my time. I do not care for shallow relationships that focus on physical instead of emotional bonds. So if someone physically finds themselves addicted to some substance, they will find little comfort from me. I hate it that people can get away with harsh words and needless negative criticism simply because they say it in a cute way. Lastly, I do not deal well with people who will give a mix of praise and insult. Nothing is more confusing to deal with then wondering whether someone hates you or admires you.It is not hard to stay on my good side.
