Jared: Hungarian/ Italian born in La Mirada, California. Adopted at age 1 1/2..
I have been writing and composing music since I was fifteen years old. I have always been into music but fifteen is the age where I knew there was a love for it. I played many pianos and recorded many stupid sessions as I figured out how to make a structured song. I still have recordings of when I was fifteen. haha.. I'm thirty now. In my childhood I wish I would had the same desire for music as I do now. I probably would have better sounding music. I think every musician thinks this way. It should always sound better and being a perfectionist is important, but learning not to over do it. My family and friends love my music so I guess it's tolerable. haha.. ____________________________________________________________

I always loved the guitar. I didn't own one until I was twenty-three. Again, I wish I had owned a guitar at an earlier age. I feel like a novice on the guitar. I can play somewhat by playing chords, making my own chords and creating amazing compositions that I have recorded.

I love all types of music and sometimes people tell me they hear different artist influences in my music. I grew up with many different types like, The Cure, Depeche Mode, Enigma, Enya, Mars Lasar, Pink Floyd, Phil Collins, Thomas Dolby, Sade, and tons of others and it would be time consuming to list them all. I'm the type of person that listens to a song on the radio but only pays attention to the music first. If the music gets my attention then I will listen for the lyrics and the voice afterwards. Sometimes its different, if the vocalist is a fantastic singer and stands out more than the music then I will pay attention to the vocalist more. I also dissect music I hear, and pay attention to a particular instrument in the song. I will pick out the bass for instance and concentrate on what notes the bass is probably playing. I think listening to music when I am in bed trying to sleep also builds inspiration for me to write and compose. The different types of Genres I like are, Ambient, Electronic, Instrumental, Jazz, New Age, Hip Hop, Trance, Industrial, all types of metal, Rap, R&B... I do enjoy listening to music with guitars but I can't seem to like much Country though. As you see, I am in likes with all different types.

" Frame of Mind " is the title of my album. It has sixteen songs of a purely instrumental journey through love, despair, fantasy, and electronic fixations. Some people ask, "Jared, why don't you sing, you have a great voice? " The thing is I do sing, but not the best. I am sure vocal training would help with learning how to sing at a professional level, but right now I don't think it is my talent. My talent is hearing music in my head and being able to sit down at the piano and arrange an ensemble of instruments together in harmony. Sometimes I just hear percussion and get inspired for eight hours of recording the rest of the song. It's different everytime for me.

In general I'm an artist of all types. I grew up learning how to express myself in many ways of creativity. I like sketching, drawing, coloring books.. ( haha, I know), Pen sketching, Piecing (as in graffiti, I use to tag years ago but I only piece on paper now), modeling clay: colored and monotone( Play doh is fun too.. haha), photography: I am fascinated by capturing a moment on paper. I'm not too serious right now about Photography because my camera was taken but would like to better myself in it later on :( ... Oil painting, colored pencils.. Jeese.. you get the idea.

Who I would like to meet: Anybody that wants to chat about music or art in general. Anybody that is a fan of my music, is a fan of mine. I also want to meet other musicians that are into film composing or commercials. I think I would be a great candidate for film composing. I forgot to mention that I am creating music for a short film that is going to be viewed at the Film Festival called, Once Upon a Sleepless Night. Just waiting for them to finish shooting. I want to meet other musicians as well and listen to their music. Basically anyone who is creative and knows where they want to go in life. Anybody that is a good friend. I am always looking for new friends because one can never have enough.. Plus I am single and I want to meet a woman that I can share my heart with. For dating, for relationship, who knows? Start out slow and see where it goes.
