Well, I grew up in Saint Charles, IL, a suburb about 50 miles west of Chicago. I have two older wonderful sisters. The three of us couldn't be more opposite except for our stubbornness. I'm the baby. I am pretty sure I have the typical baby-of-the-family characteristics ... affectionate, almost always in a good mood and smiling, open-minded (I'd like to think so, at least). As stated earlier though, I'm stubborn and I probably shouldn't voice my opinion as much as I do.
I work at an ad agency in Chicago. I've lived in Chicago for four years now and I love it but would love to move overseas. I'm up for an adventure.
I adore my family and friends. Elizabeth, my virtual third sister, is my oldest friend. Our mothers were pregnant together so I have known her literally all of my life. Miss you, Lizard!
Lately, I've been very interested in genealogy. I went to Ireland and met a cousin for the first time while I was in Dublin. Trying to flush out my family tree more but it's tough!It's a lot more difficult than I was expecting.
I love to travel and would like to do it so much more. Outside the US, I've been to France, England, Spain, Italy, Vatican City, Greece, Ireland, Scotland, Canada, Jamaica, Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Grand Cayman and Mexico (I think that's it ...). In October, Erin (my sis) and I are going to Japan. I'm super psyched to eat sushi for two weeks straight (YUM!). Tanzania, South Africa, Brazil, Belize and Panama are also destinations I want to hit in the next couple years. Anika, my Panamanian Devil, let's go.
