DIMENTICARMI NON!

First we got together in autumn of 2004, back then we called it the "The 7th sweat of James Brown". Band members were Arseniy- guitar, Nikita- drums, Krasnikova- bass, Nik- vocal. Lot’s of band members came and went during the year. Finally, by the autumn of 2005 it was fixed, called now "Dimenticarmi non!"Most of off all it’s 60’s rock, 80’s post-punk, new wave, garage, noise, experimental, punk and diy aesthetics that inspires our music and creation.We all keep to free and intuitive musical attitude, defining creative path of our own as no wave.Playing gigs we such bands as (only few to mention) The Burglars, Children of Fall, Fun, Earworm, Jumbo Jet, Vialka, Nola, Foojitsu, Amanda Woodward, Lack, Loa Loa, Benzolnye Mertvecy and many many more. Thanks to all of you! In cities Moscow, St.Petersburg, Kiev, Volgagrad (Real Art Festival). Lot’s of thanks to all of you who visited those concerts. And all who supported us. By the autumn of year 2006 a bunch of 5 songs were finally recorded and mixed by Max Ionov and released by Retrotrasher records as a split with the legendary underground band Lesbian Boy.Presentation of this record was also the last concert we played before falling into hiatus for almost a year, with no rehearsals, no new songs. Some band members formed new bands of their own, had babies and got married. But we kept working on the record soon to be released.In October 2007 we played our first gig after the break with Brighter than a 1000 suns and SABOT.Inspired by this performance and the support from the guests we work now on our new songs soon to be played live for all of you, experimenting with the sound, trying new instruments.See you!
