The five of us became Better Friends than Lovers in 2004 -- after moving to east van from all around Canada and the US. We try to play music that encourages people to be themselves and have a good time.
We like supporting good as opposed to evil and have performed at festivals such as Ladyfest, Rock for Choice and Under the Volcano. We've also played with some rad people like Swan Island, Lesbians on Ecstasy, & The Organ.
In 2006 we released a self titled e.p. with help from our sweet friend Amy Worobec at Hipposonic Studios. All of the covers were printed on recycled paper boxes by hand by Chloe (mad keys).

We just got back from a cross Canada tour in support of our first full length album - Great Loves -- released on Global Symphonic. You can find it in your local record shop or order a copy online.
We were nominated for a CBC 3 Bucky Award for "Best New Band Name".
