"Adobe sounds like the kind of singer-songwriter pop that I have a penchant for, with the names of Penn, Finn and Petty thrown about."
–Not Lame Review
"Great vibe on this entire record."
–Bryson VanCleve on Adobe
“This is the best singer-songwritery album I've heard in a long time, including stuff by the big guys. This guy is for real. Buy this.”
–Norman Famous on Morris Road
"Maiden is a graceful lyricist with a sharp eye for poetic detail; songs like 'Stun Me' and 'Overtime Love' are built on unexpected metaphors and sly wordplay that recall Elvis Costello and Squeeze's Chris Difford."
–Stewart Mason, All Music Guide on Morris Road
Chuck Maiden, born in Lawrence, Kansas and raised in Canoga Park, California has been writing songs since his teens. His major influences stem from the sixties. Bands like The Beatles, Buffalo Springfield and The Who sparked his early interest in music.
Chuck has fronted bands like "Hands" while living in Seattle and "The Story So Far" in L.A. More recently, Chuck has produced and recorded two albums of his own material, "Morris Road"(2003) and "Adobe"(2005). Some of the songs were co-written with Bill Reveles. His music has received airplay across the U.S. and Europe and has been featured on XM radio. His album, "Morris Road" received an Honorable Mention at the 2004 Independent Music Festival.
Currently, he is recording his third solo album as well as teaming up with guitarist, Rob Taylor to record an album of music from their Story So Far period.
As well as being a musician and songwriter, Chuck has also worked on King Of The Hill as a background artist.
